What the hell?

I hate myspace. I barely log on. When I do, I find out there's a secret GC show going on right as I'm staring at the bulletin. Okay, I had plans at 2pm when they suggest being at the Black Cat around 3pm. But still! GC's in DC right now and I'm missing it. They better come back.

I got my teaching licensure! YAY! It's in DC, so if I get hired in Virginia, I'll have to get VA licensure. Whatever. The licenses should be reciprocal. If I have to take any more tests I will fucking scream.

I also had an interview at the job fair for my local county's schools. A high school principal said she's hiring many new teachers for the next school year. She's looking for a few English teachers. I think I impressed her too because she gave me her card with the names of an assistant principal and the English Department chair on it. I think that's good, right?

I am 25 today. I feel special with all the messages I got. I started to make myself a birthday cake, but I found out my daddy was getting me one from the grocery store. I froze it and haven't iced it yet. It's a kicked up devils food cake in a bundt cake form. I'll put a white chocolate icing on it. I love white chocolate. 

Anyway, I still need to get flash on this damn laptop. My local rock station sent me an animated greeting. It was also funny to get a message from gcnaptown. I'm still wondering if my ex is going to call me. Probably not. That makes me sad. He wrote in his letter (when he broke up with me) that he wanted to be friends. I wrote back and said I can't make the effort anymore. The other guy I was trying to get as disappeared. I'm afraid to call him. Last time I did there was a message saying he broke it. Then he cut off internet connections. And with all the snow and ice my car is stuck. The snow is frozen solid. I'd have to chip it away. It's up my tires and on the ground about 5 feet in front of the grill. It sucks. My friend is coming up tomorrow and we're gonna try and get together. But I might be stuck. Dammit. 

My day has been boring as hell. Watched Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Played some old school Bomber Man on the Wii with my baby bro, little sis, and little sis's boyfriend. That was fun. I won, maybe, once. I suck at video games, but they're fun to play. Now, it's back to the computer to play around.
